Below are services we offer under Environmental Testing
Air Quality Testing and Monitoring
This service includes both indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring for the common air pollutants i.e., Particulate Matter (PM2.5 & PM10), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and many more. We also offer stack emission testing for selected pollutants to assess compliance with international standards. The results are packaged in a technical report. Other additional services include air quality modelling to predict ambient conditions for different scenarios.
Noise Monitoring
A noise survey is typically conducted in areas where noise exposure is likely to be hazardous. We offer indoor and outdoor noise monitoring services for workplaces and the general environment. The findings can be used to undertake a noise risk assessment to help you decide what you need to do to ensure the health and safety of your employees exposed to noise. Our Casella sound level equipment meets the most stringent international acoustics standards.
Specialized Laboratory Testing
We work with other reputable labs in East Africa for laboratory analysis and other specialised tests. Our partner laboratories have multi-disciplinary expertise coupled with our state-of-the-art analytical equipment. They provide our clientele with a comprehensive range of analytical testing, consulting, and field sampling services. They are equipped with spectrophotometers, BOD analyzers, Gas chromatography, Ion chromatography, etc. In this partnership, we offer field sampling, sample preservation, specialized sample transport to the labs and technical interpretation of results followed advisory services.
Water Quality Monitoring
Monitoring of water quality in natural systems such as lakes and rivers is important to ensure the health of our ecosystems. Our water quality testing service includes both onsite (in-situ) testing for pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electro-Conductivity (EC), Dissolved Oxygen (DO). Other tests such as E. coli and physical-biological tests (sulphates, nitrates, heavy metals, hydrocarbons, oil, and grease, etc.) are done at our network of specialized and accredited laboratories in Uganda, Kenya, and Europe.
We specialise in the sampling and testing for the following:
- Surface Water (rivers, lakes, etc.)
- Groundwater (boreholes, etc.)
- Drinking water
- Acid mine drainage
- Wastewater from construction sites
- Site runoff
Soil Testing and Contamination Testing
Due to possible past uses of urban sites, soil testing is important to detect any contaminants, such as PCBs, PAHs, petroleum products, asbestos, Lead, or other heavy metals. Whether you are interested in detecting pollution levels after a spill of hazardous materials or as part of a business transaction due diligence, we undertake soil sampling and testing to detect the presence of pollutants and other hazardous materials.
