Elizabeth has 10+years’ work experience in social development, humanitarian and relief sector. She holds a Master’s Degree in Arts-Human Rights (MUK); PGD in Human Resource Management (UMI); BA Social Sciences (MUK). She has worked in Uganda and South Sudan as a Gender and Protection Specialist for leading development partners that include Lutheran World Federation (LWF); Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC); LWF South Sudan Program; Africa Humanitarian Action – (AHA). She has valuable experience in Gender and Vulnerability Assessments focused on empowering and protecting the rights of vulnerable groups. She has offered technical backstopping to NGOs implementing gender and protection interventions, Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention and safeguarding in emergency, recovery and rehabilitation. In addition, she has strong research and documentation skills in both qualitative and quantitative methods. At Tenvicon, Elizabeth leads all gender, vulnerability and human rights studies.
