Mwerera has over 10 years of experience in the fields of project development, management and evaluation, natural resources management, and environmental audit, Environmental management and regulatory compliance, permitting and environmental impact analyses, watershed management and project evaluations. Mwerera has served private and public clients focusing upon project and program management and the development and implementation of innovative, cost-saving environmental regulatory permitting and compliance strategies. Mwerera has hands-on experiences in design, managing, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
Mwerera has a Master of Science degree in Environment and Natural Resources and Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Makerere University, a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Monitoring and Evaluation and Master of Business Administration (MBA)-(Management) from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). He is also a Certified Project Manager with PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner certification in Project Management equipped with knowledge and skills to manage projects and Programs Successfully.
