Kenneth is a NEMA Certified Environment Impact Assessor No. CC/EIA/228/26 with 15+ years managing safeguards for large infrastructure projects that include the USD 125m New Nile Bridge at Jinja, the USD81m Kampala Flyover Project, the USD78m Achwa HPP2, the USD 20m Atari Irrigation Scheme and several other road projects. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and Management of Kyambogo University and an International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health by NEBOSH, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management and is ISO 31000 Risk Manager Certified. His experience includes water quality monitoring and bathymetric surveys; advised on compliances to environmental regulations and permitting requirements, developed method statements, management plans as well as implementing best management practices for environmental impact monitoring. He has been deeply involved in HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaigns, Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) outreaches as well as gender sensitization, monitoring, and reporting. Having worked with several donor-aided projects, he is well abreast with funder requirements and ensuring that projects adhere to international standards and best practices. He leads construction HSE services.
